MARIGOLD PAINTS was founded as a Proprietary Unit in 1976. The Company in its initial stage manufactured specialized hi-tech paints for the needs of Engineering Industry. As the Company grew in size, it ventured into manufacturing of industrial and decorative paints for a wider range of applications. The Company was converted into a Private Limited Company in 1986. Subsequently two resin manufacturing units were set up, one unit for manufacturing Alkyd Resins and the other unit for manufacturing sophisticated resins like Epoxies, Vinyls, Aminos and Acrylics. Ever since the establishment of Company’s own resins manufacturing units and resin being the heart of any paint, Marigold Paints has been able to achieve high standards of quality and performance in manufacturing wide range of products.

In the year 2001, Mr. Davinder Kumar Mittal took over the control and management of the Company from Mr. Bhanubhai Patel, the technocrat founder, who retired but continues to help assist the Company as a Technical Consultant.

As Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Davinder Kumar Mittal, since taking over, has improved the infrastructure & production facilities, upgraded technology and created a wider distribution network for Company’s products, throughout India, with special emphasis on high quality standards. As a result of their efforts, Mittals have succeeded not only in augmenting the turnover of Marigold Paints, but also in improving the quality of Company’s products and winning over customers through high quality service.
